I am not nearly political enough. Trying to understand the US system for choosing their candidates has caused my ears to bleed; and I still have no idea what the parties stand for. So, I did the sensible thing, and filled in an Internet questionnaire to find out whether I'm Democratic, or Republican. (
Which seemed marginally more worthwhile than identifying my Celebrity Boob Twin. Please don't get me wrong, not only do I love and respect MA, and, indeed, boobs... actually, come to think of it, maybe MA could be my Boob Twin? Anyway...)
So, here it is; the Shroom's politics unveiled:
Your Vote Score: 16% Republican, 84% Democrat |
You fit well with the Democrat party, and you should almost definitely vote Democrat this election.
In fact, you're so strongly Democrat, a political career (or at least some activism )may be in your future.

I'm not sure I'm any clearer for knowing this, but it beats navel gazing about how depressing work is while I wait to hear about my twin...
(Please don't sue me for harrassment, or lewdness or something...)

I took the quiz, Knifeman, and came in as a True Independent (58% republican, 42% democrat). I wish I could blend the candidates into a third person.
interesting...77-23.
You’ve made me blush. If I would’ve known you’d be reading, I would have lied and tried to make a better impression.
60% democrat for me, interesting.
Not that I really understand why.
Two others puzzlers that may give you a broader view globally:

I've been in the US for all my 35.x years and I'm still trying to figure out why we're so (relatively) one-dimensional. But I'm a Lemon, so go figure.
Curious that this puff piece has attracted more interest than the doom and gloom piece preceeding it that I sweated blood over. Still, I guess it shows I ain't borin you, faithful reader with my non med rambles.
I've tried PolComp before, and am always surprised to find it scoring me as Lt / Libertarian - Ghandi, Mandela, Shroom... go figure. It doesn't take into account my neo-Nazi rants in the ED on a Saturday night, of course.
I always thought Lemon and one dimensional were mutually exclusive...
When I said "We're relatively one-dimensional," I meant the "collective we" which clearly I'm above.
Clearly.
By the way, I have no idea how I found your blog, but I'm glad I did. I like your mannerisms as a writer.
I never know how anyone finds me, to be fair; but all are welcome. Spreading the Shroom gospel, etc
